Bailey Snelling
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Bachelor of Exercise Science
Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology
Accredited with Sport and Exercise Science Australia (ESSA)
Originally from Adelaide, Bailey comes to us with a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a love of all things Football.
Playing high level football, Bailey learnt a lot about health and fitness and loved putting in the work to see the benefits. In high school, he realised his passion for health and exercise which eventuated in him pursuing a career in the industry.
Throughout his studies he worked as a health and wellness promoter for people over 50, as well teachers aiding supporting first nations kids at school.
After graduating from Flinders University in 2022 and having completed placements in Darwin, as well as playing several seasons in the NTFL, he made the move up to Darwin. Bailey was drawn to the opportunity for growth as a clinician and a person, and to gain experience working amongst different cultures, and to live that special Darwin lifestyle.
Bailey has an interest in the musculoskeletal system, mental health, men’s health, and strength and conditioning.
When he is not working, Bailey enjoys playing football in the NTFL, fishing, camping, and experiencing all that Darwin has to offer with his partner and friends.
Elizabeth Elphick
Outreach Physiotherapist
Bach.App.Sc,(Physio), Grad. Dip. Sports Physio. A.P.A.M
Coming to the NT in !983 from Perth, Liz established her Private Practice in Darwin, and later in Humpty Doo, which she operated for 32 years. Further studies in 2000 enabled her to incorporate acupuncture into her practice. Following a brief 'retirement' after the sale of her businesses and undertaking several locums around Australia, Liz commenced remote work in Indigenous communities with BodyfitNT in January 2022 which she has continued with Raintree Allied Health.
What does Liz say about working as part of our Outreach team? "I love the challenge and variety of working with First Nations communities. Cultural and language differences demand a wider skill set than just doing Physio along with the restricted time I have in each location I need to ensure maximum value in each encounter. Flying over Arnhem Land and the Islands to some gorgeous parts of the NT is a bonus!"
In her spare time, Liz enjoys yoga, hiking, spending time with family and friends and absorbing the gorgeous Darwin coastline.
Cody Gant
Administration Officer
Diploma of Counselling
After many years as an administrative assistant to Practitioners in Medical and Allied Health Clinics, I was offered the unique opportunity to manage participants seeking rehab services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Assisting practitioners to deliver services which drastically improve an individual's quality of life has been rewarding in many ways and has taught me valuable lessons which I use in all areas of my life.
Cody is a Darwin born and bred local, and although she has been away many times she always comes back for the laid back lifestyle and NT charm. She loves the beach and being active. Recently, Cody sailed on a tall ship for the first time and is hoping join a sailing club soon.
What does Cody love about her job? "Having a great team makes coming to work fun, every day is different but you're always guaranteed to have a laugh along the way!"
